The Holmfirth Pyramid of Schools* are working together with Kirklees Extended Learning Service to provide high quality learning opportunities for children and young people in Kirklees. Such provision will complement and enhance mainstream educational provision. The service will also seek to secure provision for families, parents and carers to enable them to support the learning of children and young people. Extended Schools
- Work with schools to extend their services as part of the Extended Schools programme. All schools should be offering extended services by 2010
- Develop links with a range of agencies to support a coherent approach to service delivery in line with Every Child Matters.
- Work with communities across Kirklees to support and secure learning opportunities for adults, children and young people.
