Here we are, all dressed up for world book day.
Classroom
There are 28 of us altogether and we are split into 5 ability groups. This helps the teacher give us work that will push us so we can improve. We stay in the classroom for most of our lessons but we go into different classes for our phonics and for P.E.
We sometimes go on educational trips.

We are also going to go to Tropical World, a Mosque and a Church. These trips help us to develop our understanding of different curriculum areas.
What topics do we cover?
When we are in 1H we learn about lots of interesting topics.
Autumn term- ‘I am Amazing’ and ‘Light and Dark’.
Spring term- ‘Marvellous Materials’ and ‘Journeys’.
Summer term- ‘Down at the Bottom of the Garden’ and ‘Under the Sea’.
What do we need to remember in 1H?
1H has P.E on Tuesdays and Thursdays so we all need to remember to bring our P.E. kits. We change our library books on Tuesdays so we need our book marks and library books. If everyone brings their book back then Mrs Bustard brings our class a special treat. We get Numeracy and Literacy homework every Friday that needs to be handed in on Monday, this lets our parents see what we are doing in class and helps us improve.
