Parental Guidance for using Digitalbrain in the home

Your child will have a Digitalbrain log in and password so that they can enter their own working space from home. Their Digitalbrain account gives them e-mail, webspace, a homepage and a calendar. Digitalbrain offers a useful communication device between school and home. As it is a school based resource and accessed through the internet, here is some guidance for working with it.

  1. Please reinforce the Children's Rules with your child at home.
  2. Digitalbrain does not filter the internet, so you need to have your own internet firewall and parental controls set up.
  3. If your child finds any inappropriate material on the VLE please inform the school immediately.
  4. Anything your child puts onto Digitalbrain can be seen by members of staff.
