Pupils have weekly ICT lessons with Mrs. Lister, our ICT Educational Teaching assistant & Technician
- Children have individual access to a computer during IT lessons, as half a class visit the suite at one time, while the other half, complete a curriculum lesson with the Teacher, after which, the groups swap over.
- The ICT suite is fully equipped with a Smartboard and PC peripherals such as: microphones, earphones, speakers, microscopes, digital cameras and video equipment.
EACH ICT LESSON, PUPILS ARE REWARDED FOR GOOD BEHAVIOUR & HARD WORK.
2 children from each lesson, are chosen to be entered into the weekly draw for the WHIZKID certificate presented every Friday (and win a Bookmark/Doorhanger during the lesson).
 
The winners are displayed on the winners board (shown above) and their name noted on the Yearly Chart (shown below). The class with the most winners, are rewarded at the end of the school year with an
ICT FUN DAY!
This incentive has been working successfully for 3 years!
- The school has a vast variety of software, which all pupils can use.
For example: We use Dazzle 03 graphics package for computer aided art - Textease CT and MS Office 2003 for word processing.
