Young Artists of Kirklees

We are delighted to that all of the Young Artists of Kirklees 2009/10 have passed their Bronze Arts Award! Congratulations to them!

The Young Artists of Kirklees is group of young people aged 11-15 who have the opportunity to explore the arts in new and challenging ways outside school.

Members take part in workshops led by practicing artists and professionals. They will develop their skills and ideas in their own chosen art area.

These young people have the opportunity to gain a Bronze Arts Award (a nationally recognised qualification in the arts). The Arts Award encourages young people to develop as artists and arts leaders, gaining new skills in communication, teamwork, leadership and planning.

This is a fantastic opportunity to meet new friends and try new things!

Why not find out how you could become a Young Artist?
