We are delighted to announce the launch of the Young Artists of Kirklees! This is a new group of young people aged 11-15 who have the opportunity to explore the arts in new and challenging ways outside school.

Members will take part in workshops led by practicing artists and professionals. They will develop their skills and ideas in their own chosen art area.

These young people will have the opportunity to gain a Bronze Arts Award (a nationally recognised qualification in the arts). The Arts Award encourages young people to develop as artists and arts leaders, gaining new skills in communication, teamwork, leadership and planning.

This is a fantastic opportunity to meet new friends and try new things!
