 42 Kirklees Schools have now achieved the prestigious Artsmark Award demonstrating a commitment to providing opportunities across all art forms from drama to music, design to literature, and dance to sculpture. Artsmark schools work in partnership with artists and arts organisations helping to provide  a well balanced education programme which enables pupils to engage into an arts  enriched curriculum.

 

Artsmark is a National Award Scheme managed by the arts council for recognition and reward for schools dedicated to the arts. The Artsmark is available to all schools in England. It is awarded after an application, assessment and validation process and managed by Arts Council England.
